Dear Stakeholders,

In an economic and geopolitical context in constant evolution—often marked by instability growth and change are no longer optional choices, but essential conditions for existing, maintaining, and strengthening one’s position. 2024 was a year of growth and transformation for our organisation: a year in which we chose to evolve and face change with determination and awareness, reinforcing the growth trajectory that has long defined our journey. We decided not to stand still, but to transform—driven by the desire to continue building an industrial reality capable of tackling today’s challenges and anticipating those of
tomorrow.

With the acquisition of LLS Titanium and Carbon-Ti in August 2024, Castellini became an industrial group, able to integrate different and complementary capabilities under a shared vision. From a company structured around two Business Units — Machining and Solution — we are now a cohesive, multidisciplinary industrial group, made up of distinct entities
united by a passion for excellence, innovation, and continuous research, ready to engage with increasingly complex markets without losing the identity and values that set us apart.

As further evidence of this change, we updated our corporate name to Castellini S.p.A., moving away from the wording “Officine Meccaniche” that had identified us since our founding years. This was a choice designed to represent more faithfully who we are today: a technology-driven, innovative company oriented toward the future—one that for years has been operating at levels and in fields that go beyond the traditional boundaries of a workshop.

We did not stop at form: we focused on substance, amending our Articles of Association and adopting the legal form of a Benefit Corporation (Società Benefit), in order to formally commit to pursuing, alongside profit, objectives of common benefit. This step is consistent with our way of doing business: a natural evolution for a company that has always placed people, the local area, the environment, and responsibility toward future generations at its core.
In line with this commitment and with a future-oriented perspective, we decided to prepare this third Sustainability Report in accordance with the ESRS standards set out by the new CSRD Directive, despite the fact that we will not be subject to mandatory reporting requirements for the next few years. We see this as an act of responsibility and an opportunity to strengthen transparency, measurability, and the quality of our ESG performance, preparing ourselves with awareness for a European and global landscape that is changing rapidly.

Within this unstable socio-political scenario and in continuous evolution, being ready for change—and anticipating it whenever possible—is a fundamental strategy for making the most of increasingly short and compressed adaptation times. The speed that characterises this historical moment is often fuelled by the continuous development of new technologies, whose rapid emergence and evolution profoundly affect markets, generating a regulatory and legislative environment that is constantly being updated.

We want to look at the past year not only as a moment of transformation, but as a fundamental stage in a much longer and more complex journey. In Nelson Mandela’s words — “there is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered” — we find a reflection that helps us grasp the deeper meaning of
the transformations we are experiencing: our history, values, and entrepreneurial culture remain solid, yet it is precisely our ability to change that enables us to face the future with clarity and courage. We aim to go far, while remaining firmly anchored to where we began.

In a global landscape marked by profound challenges that require careful reflection on how we act and react, we believe resilience can only be built by joining forces. For us, being a group does not mean giving up the family spirit that has always nourished our company. On the contrary, the active involvement of two generations in the Castellini Group’s growth journey ensures balance, vision, long-term perspective, and an ability to listen in the way we do business. For us, growth is not only a strategic choice: it is the only way to face the future with solidity and clarity. It is a path we trace every day with commitment and
awareness, to ensure prosperity and development for our companies in a sustainable, inclusive, and transparent manner.
